If you can believe it James has been using a pawn shop special older Sony CyberShot. I am not even sure of the mega pixels or anything like that but James usually rides with a pocket full of AA batteries as well...it was that old. Take a look at his pictures that old camera was brilliant with its Zeiss lens and James' eye. Some of the nicest pictures I have seen were taken by that old camera. That camera has gone to the big camera graveyard as it finally died this week. James was lucky enough to pick up a really nice replacement Sony with the familiar Zeiss glass. This camera will take the space of the old Sony and all those spare batteries next season. I am looking forward to seeing the quality pictures that James will take with his new camera.
I love the A350. It allows me to get very creative and its very easy to use. The image quality is excellent and the battery life is fantastic. You can get all the info you need on the A350 here (I love this website for camera info): http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydslra350
Our tastes and abilities have changed over the time we have been doing this and both of us agree we are looking for drop dead gorgeous pictures that are vibrant and mood filled. I think as we populate the 2014 gallery over the winter it will be evident that our equipment and our eyes have been growing and improving. I hope you agree.
