As Ghost Riders we travel and hunt the range and township roads that criss cross this incredible province, perpetually on the hunt for places that reflect the past. A homestead, a barn, piece of railroad, abandoned townsites or the incredible nature of this province we stop and explore them. Our mission is to photograph and explore the portions of the province that inspire us and teach us about the past. It is important to mention that we practice the "leave no trace policy". We take nothing, we disturb nothing and abide by the trespassing laws that govern this province. You will not find addresses or route maps on here as we wish to protect the integrity of the homesteads and areas we find. Unfortunately too many people would use this as a map to destroy that which has sat undisturbed for so many years

James and Michael proudly support the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride which happens annually in September.
‘I say! What a spiffing smoking jacket. Who is your tailor, sir?’Sadly, sentences like these are not often uttered anymore. For one day a year, however, thousands of Distinguished Gentleman (and genteel ladyfolk) in hundreds of cities worldwide press their cravats, starch their tweed and sit astride their classic-styled motorcycles to raise funds for prostate cancer research and awareness. It’s a day all about spreading merriment while raising awareness of a really important issue. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a celebration of the art of being dapper and the style of classic custom motorcycles. What does that mean, you ask?Think: Monocles, jaunty trimmed moustaches, silk vests, crisp shirts and tailored suits. Ride: Café Racers, Bobbers, Classics, Flat Trackers, Scramblers and quirky, undefinable two-wheeled machines. Do: Bring your finest manners, neatest beards and a sense of fun and adventure. |
